Logistical information for setting up at the Children’s Clean Water Festival
Set-up: Plan to set up your exhibit the morning of the Festival so that it
is ready by 9:00 a.m. Remember Portland can have traffic delays associated
with the morning rush hour!
All classrooms and exhibits must be ready for students no later than 9:30 AM.
At set up, there will be Festival staff to answer questions, direct you to your exhibit location,
and provide you with a name badge.
Parking: You may park for free in the parking lot near the exhibit hall. A few carts and dollies will be available.
Once in your classroom, groups of students will move through your area in 25 minute blocks of time. All presentations given
must fit within that timeframe.
Lunch: A break for lunch will be scheduled into your day. The Festival provides Classroom Presenters with lunch in Building 3.
You are encouraged to register assistants to attend the Festival with you if you
need extra hands in the classroom.
Contact Patty Morgan at pmorgan@europa.com or (503) 223-8633 if you have questions about
giving a classroom presentation. Kim can provide assistance in planning a presentation or help determine how to best adapt
your presentation for the age group and time limit.
