Logistical information for setting up for the Children’s Clean Water Festival

Set-up: Plan to set up your exhibit the morning of the Festival so that it is ready by 9:00 a.m.  Remember Portland can have traffic delays associated with the morning rush hour!  At the exhibitor registration area, there will be Festival staff to answer questions, direct you to your exhibit location, and provide you with a name badge.

Parking: You may park for free in the parking lot near the exhibit hall.  A few carts and dollies will be available.

Tables, etc: a large table and chairs will be available for your exhibit.  The tables are institutional-looking; you are welcome to bring banners, posters, tablecloths or other materials to soften this look.  If you need to show posters, please bring a stand to hold them.

Electricity: If you requested electricity, your table will be located near an outlet; however, bring an extension cord to reach the outlet.

Water: Water is available from nearby restrooms.  If possible, bring a bucket to carry the water from the faucet to your exhibit.  A sponge is highly recommended to clean up spills.

Forget something?  The Festival is a fun, community event.  Festival staff or volunteers will try to provide or find buckets or electrical cords should you forget one, or other exhibitors are usually willing to loan out any extra items they have.

Logistical information for the day of the Children’s Clean Water Festival!

Be present at your exhibit to provide demonstrations and answer questions throughout the day, with the exception of lunchtime, during which the exhibit will be closed and you can enjoy a well-deserved break.  This is a great opportunity to share conversation with other exhibitors over a free lunch provided by a Festival caterer.

Take down your exhibit after 1:30 p.m.
