Thank you for your interest in the Children's Clean Water Festival! The Children's Clean Water Festival will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at University of Portland (note the location change). Past festivals were huge successes and this year's festival is sure to be as great. A big "Thank You" goes out to all presenters, exhibitors, volunteers, performers and school groups that participate. You are what makes this Festival a fabulous event each and every year.

You may download an Adobe Acrobat version of the 2012 Clean Water Festival Program (PDF) here.

The Festival is an annual event that is usually held in the spring on a college campus. Our goal is to teach children that they are capable of having real, long-lasting, positive impacts on water resources, and to equip them with the information they need to do that in a fun and engaging way.

This event is possible only because an incredible number of organizations volunteer time to pull it together. Volunteers who are members of the Coalition of Clean Water Festival Partners, or who present classroom activities, set up hands-on exhibits in the Exhibit Hall, give stage performances, or volunteer to help with various other tasks the day of the Festival have allowed the Festival to achieve enormous success since 1994. You can also learn more about the history of the Festival.

The Festival is held in three buildings and in the common areas between the buildings. The campus is essentially free of college students on the day of the Festival.

Every 25 minutes, class groups move from one event to another according to their personalized schedule. Classroom presenters and exhibitors set up in the morning and classes rotate through their presentations throughout the day.
