Each year, the Children’s Clean Water Festival hosts between 1300 and 2000 students in an event that teaches the environmental and scientific impacts we have on water and water has on us.

Bus Funding

Occasionally, a local interest group, such as a watershed council, irrigation district, or water supply facility, will donate funds to pay for transportation for a particular school in their area. Click here for more information.

Participation
Schools participate in one of two ways: as Festival guests or presenters in the Student Showcase.

Guests
Typically, schools send one or two of their 4th or 5th grade classrooms to the Festival. Each class is assigned a schedule that includes a combination of classroom presentations, student showcases, exhibit hall, and stage shows. The class moves together through the Festival, gaining understanding of the importance of clean, accessible water.

If you would like to register your classroom to attend the Festival, fill out our School Registration form. Registration for the 2004 Festival on March 19, 2004, will begin in the fall of 2003.
