The Children’s Clean Water Festival is a one-day environmental education event for 4th grade students from around the Portland Metro area. The Festival reinforces STEM, Common Core and Next Generation Science concepts through water-focused classroom presentations, exhibits and stage shows.
Volunteers can get involved with the Festival by participating as Class guides. Class guides lead a class around the campus making sure that they successfully get from activity to activity (activities are 30 minutes long and there is 10 minutes travel time between activities). Class guides volunteer for the entire event (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.), and are provided time to orient themselves to the campus before their class arrives.
